Valley Beit Midrash presents a class confronting moments of disappointment in sexual ethics, both in leaders and in tradition, and exploring how to inherit this part of Torah in ways that invite honesty and growth. Drawing inspiration from contemporary feminist legal philosophers, the session looks for seeds of dignity and agency in the midst of disappointment. Particular attention is given to women in the Talmud who speak up and whose words profoundly impact the law.
