A Seder for Rosh Hashanah? with Rahel Musleah

Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")

The Seder Yehi Ratzone, a distinctive Sephardic/Mizrahi home ritual, features symbolic foods and blessings for the new year. On Rosh Hashanah, it is traditional to dip apples and honey in hopes of a sweet new year. Jews around the world share other foods as well: pomegranates, pumpkins, beans, beets, and dates–foods that grow abundantly and symbolize prosperity.

Rahel Musleah, who was born in Calcutta, India, to a Baghdadi-Jewish family, will guide us through a seder full of fun and delicious wishes and other fall holiday customs and melodies that set a spiritual tone for a year of optimism.
