A Journey through the Wilderness: Counting the Omer

Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning

The ritual of counting the Omer brings us out of the spiritual confines of “Egypt” to the expanse of the “wilderness”. It guides us in connecting to the earth and to each other as we open our awareness to the mystical forces that lift and guide us. The Omer calls us to be awake and be present, count each day and make each day count. Together we will explore this powerful mindfulness practice.
