A Gift Across Generations: Jewish Wisdom for Grandparents
Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning
The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Education, in partnership with the Jewish Grandparents Network, presents a three-part course with educator Jane Shapiro exploring what it means to reach the milestone of becoming a grandparent. Sessions cover how becoming a grandparent changes the way we think about ourselves and our Jewish roots, how storytelling and dialogue nurture intergenerational bonds, and how Jewish values can help repair relationships when tensions arise. Inspired by the Jewish Grandparents Network’s Opening the Heart initiative, the course welcomes grandparents from all kinds of families, including blended and multicultural households.
