A Conversation with a Dachau Liberator and a Survivor

Hosted By: Holocaust Museum LA

Holocaust Museum LA presents a conversation between Holocaust survivor Joe Alexander and World War II veteran Dr. Richard Baum. Alexander survived multiple camps and was liberated at Dachau in April 1945, while Baum served in the U.S. Army unit that helped liberate the camp. Marking the anniversary of Dachau’s liberation, they reflect on their experiences and the decades that followed.
