Meet Jerusalem’s Vertigo Dance Company

Hosted By: The America Israel Friendship League (AIFL)

Join us for this film about the unique home, performance and teaching space Vertigo Dance Company has created at Vertigo’s Eco Art Village. Rising from the fear and desolation of pandemic stricken Jerusalem streets, Vertigo Dance Company shares its inspiring performance “Birth of the Phoenix” as a symbol of hope for the coming new year.

The program will include a conversation between Vertigo’s Artistic Director and Co-Founder, Noa Wertheim and Joan Finkelstein, Executive Director for the Harkness Foundation for Dance in New York. Vertigo is recognized as a world renowned dance troupe, that performs in unconventional settings and removes boundaries for both performers and audiences alike.
