Founded in 1908, Beth Sholom is the largest Modern Orthodox Congregation in the Washington Metropolitan area, and has facilities in Silver Spring and Potomac, Maryland. We are affiliated with the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America. Our membership consists of approximately 400 families. Our staff, together with involved and committed members of the Congregation, works to promote the totality of Jewish values and Jewish experience through personal service to members and through activities within the greater Jewish community. Beth Sholom is home to inspiring services and showcases programs that touch people of all ages, interests and backgrounds, reflecting Beth Sholom’s remarkable diversity. The most important element of our community are the amazing people of Beth Sholom who create and participate in our activities and programs.
