You Are Not a Stranger

I’m not sure I recommend any volume of short stories more than Adam Haslett’s You Are Not a Stranger Here. The book was nominated for the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize, and is still Haslett’s only work of fiction.

This month marks the fifth anniversary of You Are Not‘s publication, and in my latest column for the Jerusalem Post, I take a look at the book and Haslett’s extraordinary writing.
