Someone get this boy a dictionary!

Yesterday, the US Supreme Court rejected the case of an Oregon woman who is trying to block her ex-husband from circumcising their 13 year old son.

Since their divorce, James Boldt has converted to Judaism and claims that his son, whom he has custody of, actually wants to have the procedure done.  Lia Boldt claims that her son is too scared to tell his father otherwise.

Last year, I was right up close for a bris.  I know it’s supposed to be a beautiful Jewish event. And I’m sorry if I offend anyone but this was anything but beautiful.  What I got most out of the experience was that I really want to have daughters.

So this boy wants to have a circumcision.  More power to him.  Just don’t invite me.  Also, make sure he sees this clip from Robin Hood: Men in Tights first.
