Jewish Values and the Financial Crisis

For every situation, there is a way to bring in Jewish values. And if you live in NYC, there is a forum for you to learn more about how Judaism deals with crises like the one we are in right now.

Next Sunday, March 22nd, at the Skirball Adult Jewish Learning Center, from 3-6 PM, there will be a session titled “Jewish Values and the Financial Crisis.” It will include a panel discussion with 4 experts, followed by breakout sessions.

The 4 sessions cover some interesting and diverse topics, from looking at government bailouts in the Joseph Story to the permisibilty of praying for your 401k.

I take a class at Skirball and I can assure you the programming there is high quality.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
