Everybody Dance (and Daven) Now

You know what the shema has always been missing? Blonde girls in leggings. Also a DJ. And awkward dance moves. Luckily, a new-to-me-and-possibly-everyone girl group from Israel has rectified the situation. Behold:

The music is good, actually, if bizarre. The video is…not. The styling alone is horrifyingly offensive, but the choreography is also pretty putrid. Wow.

I bet you were hoping that these girls would have a song that’s just perfect for the upcoming three weeks that lead into Tisha B’Av. And happily, they’ve got just the thing.

I don’t know about you, but I didn’t really feel the pain of the destruction of the Temple until I saw the graphics in this video.
