Avatar and the Blue Jewish Ladies

The blog for the Washington DC JCC notes that the blue ladies of Avatar are reminiscent of the work of Siona Benjamin, an artist we’ve told you about before on MyJewishLearning. I’ve seen Avatar and I didn’t think it was as great as everyone has been saying, but I did enjoy the blue people.
