As environmental issues gain more prominence in public discourse, more Jewish organizations promoting eco-Judaism have sprung up. These diverse organizations promote a number of issues, including education, sustainability, Jewish values, and environment in Israel. These resources are a great start in your quest to be a greener Jew.

American Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel

Works to promote knowledge, love, and respect for the land among Israel's citizens as well as abroad.

Provide a Torah based approach to understand and act on the relationship between traditional Jewish sources and modern environmental issues.

Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life

COEJL seeks to expand the contemporary understanding of such Jewish values as tikkun olam (repairing the world) and tzedek (justice) to include the protection of both people and other species from environmental degradation.
