What about the non-stupid people. I find Orthodox Judaism amazing in that the Jews have such brilliant minds and can talk about G-d in some very unorthodox ways. And accept those Jews who are not Orthodox, even athiests. Although, the non-orthodox Jew is seen as a kind of fallen away but will come back to the tribe some day. G-d or no god, we are all on the same planet just trying to make it. (and hopefully get along--yeah right). clara Who was it said that the belief in a god was a tool to control the stupid people? A god-fearing jew should be looking at a non-believing Jew as clearly a problem that needs to be fixed. But if you're like me and you don't believe god exists, then god is not the necessary essence, BUT an acknowledgement of god being used as a TOOL in the history of the jewish people IS necessary. A non-believing Jew should look at a god-fearing Jew and understand completely. Judaism exists because of the creation and use of god as a tool to control the population.
