I prefer to compare this event to Napoleon's &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Sanhedrin" rel="nofollow"&gt;Grand Sanhedrin&lt;/a&gt;, a landmark event that formed the basis for Europe's eventual acceptance of Jews as citizen-equals.  There are many differences between the two events, of course, but you might want to check out the Wikipedia entry to see how the delegates organized themselves.</description>
