Avatar and the Blue Jewish Ladies

The blog for the Washington DC JCC notes that the blue ladies of Avatar are reminiscent of the work of Siona Benjamin, an artist we’ve told you about before on MyJewishLearning. I’ve seen Avatar and I didn’t think it was as great as everyone has been saying, but I did enjoy the blue people.

Maybe I should head to the DC and take a look at Benjamin’s work up close and personal.

    Well, DC’s definitely a lot closer than Pandora. And a lot less ancient-Greek-religion sounding…
