Can we all at least pray together?

The ongoing Writers Guild of America strike depresses more and more each day. I support the writers, but I miss my TV.

There has been plenty of coverage, but I hadn’t seen this angle until yesterday, in the New York Times:

Even attending synagogue is tricky, said Rabbi John L. Rosove of Temple Israel of Hollywood.

“We have writers and studio people in the congregation who are friends,� he said. “It puts everyone in an awkward position, including me.� (MORE)

Don’t want to know what board meetings are like at that shul these days.
