Jason Lieberman

Jason Lieberman, who has cerebral palsy, spent four summers at Camp Oakhurst, a self-contained camp for people with disabilities. He was the first inclusion camper at Camp Ramah in the Berkshires, for three summers, which transformed the trajectory of his life. Professionally, Jason went with Yachad/NJCD’s first Taglit- Birthright Israel trip for people with developmental disabilities and three of their Yad B’Yad Summer Travel Camp Programs as a staff member. He has provided staff training for a number of camps. In 2013, New York Jewish Week named Jason to its 36 under 36 list. Additionally, Jason speaks on disability issues within Judaism throughout the US and abroad. He lives in New York City with his wife, Emily, and son, Ruby.
