Daniel Septimus (Chief Executive Officer) was a founding editor of MyJewishLearning.com. He holds an MA in creative writing from the University of Manchester (UK) and was, for several years, the Books columnist for the Jerusalem Post. Daniel was a co-founder of Altshul, an independent minyan in Brooklyn, and sits on the Board of Directors of Encounter. |

Meredith Lewis (Direction of Operations) holds an MA in Hebrew and Judaic studies and an MPA in non-profit finance from New York University. She received a BS in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Meredith also has served as youth group advisor for USY, a Hebrew school teacher, and a Jewish educational consultant. |

Ilana Sichel (Editor) earned her AB at Harvard and her MFA in fiction from the University of Michigan. She has worked as a university lecturer, a translator, a fellow at the Jerusalem NGO Ir Amim, and editor-in-chief of New Voices Magazine. Her work has been published in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Narrative, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Haaretz, and The Forward. |

Shoshanna Lockshin (Contributing Editor) holds an MA and Ed.M. from Columbia University Teachers College, where she studied as a Wexner Graduate Fellow. She has worked in online Jewish education in various capacities, writing for Ten Minutes of Torah (Union for Reform Judaism) and for the Internet Department of the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem. |

Tamar Fox (Contributing Editor) has an MFA in fiction from Vanderbilt University, and a BA from the University of Iowa. She has worked as the editor of the religion blog at Jewcy.com, and is on the Editorial Board at The Jew and the Carrot. She spent a summer as a fellow at Yeshivat Hadar, and was a Senior Apprentice Artist for four years at Gallery 37 in Chicago. |

Jon Madof (Director of Design and Technology) has done web and graphic design for clients including New York University, FUSE TV, Jewlicious Festivals, Mediacom and the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature. In his other life as a musician, he leads the Jewish Afrobeat band Zion80 (Tzadik Records) and has worked with John Zorn, Matisyahu and many others. |

Michael Kress (Founding Editor-in-Chief) served as editor-in-chief of MyJewishLearning from its inception in September 2001 until June 2005. He is currently the executive editor of Parents.com and previously was managing editor at Beliefnet.com. Michael is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and Yale, and his articles on religion and spirituality have appeared in Newsweek, The Dallas Morning News, Slate.com, The Boston Globe, Mental Floss, and many other publications. |
