Adloyada

Hebrew term for Purim celebration. According to the rabbis, one should rejoice on Purim 'until one no longer knows' the difference between 'Blessed be Mordecai' and 'Cursed by Haman'. In Israel, Adloyada involves a carnival parade. (See also Esther, Book of.)
